By district policy, all members of the Fine Arts in BISD are required to pay a district activity fee to "offset rising cost." This fee will NOT fund choir activites directly. This is a fee paid to BISD for their use. This is a copy of the BISD letter supplied to all students during class.
Remember that students only have to pay this fee one time per academic year. If they have paid it to another organization, they are required to bring the receipt to all other organizations as proof of payment. Do not pay twice. Bring us the receipt.
"This fee must be collected before any student can participate in the activity. In efforts to standardized the time we allow student to pay this fee, once practice begins, the student should be given 1 week to render payment before they will become disallowed to participate for non-payment of the activity fee." (BISD)

The Choir will NOT receive or have any access to these funds. This is strictly a payment to BISD.
